Jen,
Go to Harmonica Links.com and click on the Repairs section (the direct link is on the links page of this site). You can check to see who is around the Chicago area. I know Joe Filisko is inn the area, but he tends to be very busy and expensive. In fact, harmonica repair people are so rare and can be so expensive, it's usually better to pick up a simple repair and cleaning book, buy a new harmonica, or send it back to Hohner.
But do note that most harmonica issues tend to be less about a cleaning problem and more about a repair issue. There are also some free cleaning instructions in the Repairs section at Harmonica Lessons.com.
: My Dad has an old harmonica that he needs to get
: cleaned. Is there anywhere in Chicago that I could go? Thanks for your time!
